Of interest

This story is worth following. That she became pregnant in prison, 4 months after her arrest and incarceration is disturbing. But thinking about it again, what would a woman who was born in Nigeria of Nigerian parentage, which I am of the opinion is among the strictest, be doing in possession of 680 grams of heroin in Laos?

Remember this case? I wonder why kids raised in the West fall for such...

Hi PD9ja, seeing as the punishment in Laos is mandatory death by firing squad, Samantha's case seems to be more severe. And the Laos authorities appear not to have been keen to appoint for her local legal representation, so when they announce that she will get a fair trial, I don't know how. Lawyers from London have flown down, but even they have been denied full access to their client.

Pertinent isn't it that all three girls were just teenagers, although Samantha in Laos is now 20. And she became pregnant while in prison too..
